It seems that with the upcoming release of Grand Theft Auto V for next-gen consoles and the PC, a first-person mode could be introduced for the first time.
This is according to a sighting by DrOversight who has provided a link to the Google cache page on Rockstar’s website. The page on Rockstar’s website has been edited since but according to the cache, it read that one of the new features gamers could expect was “A brand new first person mode for vehicles that shows the interior of the vehicle, including working speedometers, tachometers, dash lights, and more.”
We’re not sure why Rockstar’s website has since been edited – perhaps the feature was not meant to be announced yet and was supposed to be a surprise, or it could also be that the first-person mode was written in error and that it was never a feature to begin with. It also seems like the PC version of the game will come with a video editor.
