Esperanto
Gives the Idaho a run for its money. It's just like a tank, except for no treads........or weapons..........or durability.

Idaho
Heavy, and sluggish, but fairly well handling for it's size

Manana
Truthfully, this thing is really nice. The short wheel base makes for extremely tight cornering without even using the e-brake. It's really a great drive, and not too bad off road either.

Yardie Lobo
It may look like an Espranto, but it isn’t. It's fast, powerful, and handles quite well.


High Performance Vehicles

Banshee
A great car with excellent speed and acceleration. This baby is my personal favorite and is great around corners using that e-break.

Yakuza Stinger
One of lc's best machines. It's definitely a stinger, with a little yakuza body customization touch.

V8 Ghost
A fine car that is great off stunt jumps. If you ever want to sub in a car for a PCJ to see if it's still do-able, use this one. The light back end makes for great whips around turns. It gets incredible air.

Cheetah
If you can't get an infernus, get this. It's got max handling and nearly max speed.

Deimos SP
New to gta, and a very nice addition at that. Not quite as fast as the Cheetah or Infernus, but gives them a run for their money for sure.

Phobos VT
Like a cross between a Trans Am' and a Corvette. It’s a very nice ride. Hugs the road well, and is very manageable.

Infernus
Absolute max stats. Best Handling and Speed you can get in lcs. You can never really open her up though because there are not any roads in lcs truly long, or clear enough to experience it, but try the airport runways. Truly a dream. Seems to just go faster and faster the further you go.

Stinger
The preferred auto of the Sicilian mafia, stats between the Deimos SP, and the Cheetah. Sticks to the road well, and corners great.

General 4 Door Cars

Forelli Exsess
A truly mobster car! nearly up to par with the Leone Sentinel! Great speed and handling.

Karuma
Extremely average! Speed is average, Handling is average, and you feel average when driving it.

Leone Sentinel
The best family auto in the bunch. Gets up to speed quickly and stays there. Look no further that Mr. Leone's own driveway for this beauty if you’re feeling up for some illegal street racing.

Perenneal
Actually, this is a surprising little car! It's got great pick-up, and a decent top speed and handling.

Sentinel
A well rounded gateway car that has good top speed, acceleration, and handling. One of the many pleasant surprises in lc.

Sindacco Argento
A good find early on in the game, and is a well rounded car. If you've got a choice though between this station wagon, and a Leone Sentinel, take the Leone.

Motorcycles & Scooters

Angel
GTA's Harley model, and is great at top speed. Slides around corners fairly well, and feels good to drive. They'll be no stoppies on this beast though.

Avenger
Basically angel only supped-up and earned after completing 15 Avenging Angels missions in Portland. More durable, faster, and a more stable ride than the regular Angel appears at safe house when the objective is complete.

Faggio
The infamous Faggio. What more can I say?

Freeway
Very similar to the angel. There might possible be a little more stability to be had in this ride though.

Manchez
A super Sanchez giving you much more all across the boards. Stability, Speed, Durability, and Maneuverability. Unlock by completing the 10 courses of Bumps and Grinds (Portland Pastime)

Noodleboy
Exact same as the Pizza boy, except your delivering noodles from China town instead of pizzas.

PCJ-600
Yep, this is once again the champ of all bikes in the game now that the NRG is not around. Same as in the previous games (VC, SA.)

Pizzaboy
It's a faggio with the ability to throw pizzas at people. It's all good.

Sanchez
Oh yes, everyone’s favorite dirt bike is back and still kicking.

Muscle Cars

Diablo Stallion
What the Stallion aspires to be. Great handling and speed from this 8-cylindar beauty. Kind of lacks on the suspension and handling though. If you liked it in GTA III, you'll still like it.

Hellenbach GT
Tons, and I mean tons of power! The rear wheels can't even handle all of it. This is the power king of the game.

Stallion
A 4 cylinder mustang that looks good, but is like a wet-paper bag.

Thunder Rodd
Great car for jumps and speed all together. Kind of slippery around corners though.

Miscellaneous

Hearse
A surprisingly LIVELY ride.

Mr. Whoopee
Handles great, but that's a given when the thing only goes 10 mph. If you really want speed, jump out and grab a fagio. Where's, the jingle?

Stretch
This can match a 4-door once it's up to top-speed. Hard to maneuver around town if there's many corners. You'll definitely arrive in style when in this baby.

Ambulance
Want to save someone? Get in and press "up" for the ambulance mission. Very unstable on corners. Your best bet if you want to set that two wheels bonus, is this big thing.

Taxi
Fairly good car. Very stable, and corners nicely. Handles like a police car and definitely better for the taxi missions than the cabbie

Cabbie
This car con only wish it was a taxi. Older vehicle with crappy handling around corners, and is very wobbly.

Enforcer
Surprisingly just as fast as the police car and a little better handles because of the added weight. Better choice for the "Vigilante" missions.

FBI Cruiser
A great ride!!! Nearly best top speed, and handling. Also, just heavy enough to stick around corners. Amazing car.

Firetruck
It's back and still pretty much the same. Very swift. and gets to speed rather quickly. Back end is kind of squirrelly around the corners. the water cannon is still in-tact too!

Police
Great top speed and acceleration, but kind of slides around corners in a not-so-great way. You automatically get a shotgun and five shells when you get in one of these babies.

Rhino
Guess what? The tank is back too! Press "O" to fire the cannon and blow up anything in your path. Nothing in the game is more durable than this old dog.

Trashmaster
Not speedy, pretty, or fragrant, but you can do a unique "Trash Dash" mission on each island.

Off Road SUV's & Pickups

Bobcat
Drives like a pickup truck..............because it is one, and is a little light on the back wheels, so expect to fishtail in those corners. Good acceleration which would lead you to believe a good top speed, but not this time.

Cartel Cruiser
Fast, powerful, and very stable on and off the pavement. This is actually the Columbian Cartel's truck of choice, and a wise one at that. Plus, the roll bar in the back looks pretty sweet too!

Landstalker
Surprisingly quite stable SUV, and difficult to roll even when extreme speeds, and turning are combined. Really shines when taken off road

Patriot
The best ever off-road vehicle that can climb an unpaved hill just as well as a paved one. Take the police chase off-road to make them disappear faster than a pizza at a weight-watchers convention!

Barracks Ol
Most times, if you see one of these coming, you had better leave really soon, because often carries at least 10 military troops. Kind of slow, and length makes it hard to maneuver through town, but strong enough to plow through traffic.

Bus
Huge, but still can only carry two people.........so much for the party on wheels.

Coach
Drives like a dream, and while you dream, just put it in cruise control and take a nap in the back.

Flatbed
If you want to haul three boards and a box around town, look no further. Faster than it looks.

Linerunner
This diesel is surprisingly fast once you finally get through its bazillion gears. Not wise to jack with police chasing you on foot, but good for smashing roadblocks, or slicing traffic.

Mr. Wong’s
Just like the Mule, only it says Mr. Wong’s on the side.

Mule
Handles like a boxtruck because it is one. Faster than it appears.

Securicar
Handles like and Enforcer, only not quite as powerful

Yankee
Slowest box truck in lc. If you need a faster box truck for some reason, go jack a different one.

Vans

Ballot Van
Reliable, but slow and sluggish. Handling is okay, about average

Blista
And not a compact either. this is surprisingly stable, but extremely lethargic..........even for a van.

Campaign Van
It's not as great as the Hoods Rumpo, but has an extremely hilarious loop of campaign propaganda, which you will see about that in one of Donald Love's missions.

Hoods Rumpo
This thing is absolutely amazing. It's fast, maneuverable, and seems lower to the ground than it actually is.......which is definitely a good thing. You might wonder why a gang would choose a van for a gang car, but once you drive it, you won't wonder anymore. You could seriously pull off some unique stunt jumps in this amazing little beast.

Moonbeam
Goes much faster if you push it off of a cliff, which you will want to do. If you’re in a pursuit............seriously, run on foot rather than drive this thing. Handles like a shopping cart.

Panlantic
No hidden surprises. You get what you see........crap.

Pony
An average van with slow acceleration and slipping on corners, but doesn’t roll easily.

Rumpo
Heavy, and maneuverable. Also fairly quick for a van. Puts the moonbeam to shame.......of course, what doesn’t put the moonbeam to shame?

Triad Fish Van
You might actually enjoy this ride. It's still a boxtruck, but frankly, I would rather drive this than a stallion.

Undrivable Modes Of Transport

Ferry
This boat will take you between islands rather than using a bridge. Once Stauton Island is opened, the ferry between portland and stauton can be used, and the same goes for the next city. To ride the ferry, go to the dock were the ferry station is, and then enter the yellow marker when the boat is docked. You will pay $25 for the ride.

El Train
The El Train is exclussively a portland mode of transportation. This is opened from the beginning of the game, and remains open. Simply go up to an elevated El Train station, press triangle to get on, then triangle again when you reach the desired location.

Subway
The subway is not accesible util all three islands are open, then it runs through all three. To ride, find an underground subway station, go all the way down the stairs to the very bottom, wait for a train at the tracks, press triangle to get on, then triangle again to get off when you reach the desired location or island.

Trip Skips
First appearing in Vice City, they have become a very helpfull part of gta. The trip skip comes in the form of a taxi with a blue arrow over it whenever you fail a mission. (Usually when you are busted of wasted). When you get into the taxi, it will take you to the location where you picked up the mission, and will cost you $9.00 for fair.
